Foundations Yoga at Grassroots Yoga & Health
This is a practice for people who are new to yoga OR who enjoy slowing down enough to be present inside their body.
With a range of bodies from age 30 - 70+ this class is open to all.
I love offering Foundations Yoga because I like taking my time when I show up to practice. It helps me connect with myself and my internal voice, which helps me feel more present in all aspects of my life. Whilst dynamic, flow based classes can be good for circulation, motivation and group cohesion, it is very easy to 'flow' without actually learning or feeling anything. If you like:
*a non dogmatic community space to learn about yoga & embodiment
*seasonal adaptations to support how our bodies change in different seasons
*to feel more aware, awake, grounded and connected
*to be invited - rather than told how to move, so you can develop trust and curiosity and your own
This class might be for you!
