Foundations Yoga | Fridays 9.30am at Grassroots Yoga & Health

Foundations yoga is welcome to both beginners and regular practitioners. We explore āsana (yoga shapes), embodied movements and breath awareness, with emphasis on non-dogmatic alignment that offers framework and structure, yet encourages individual exploration. I am vert led by the seasons, and honour how at different times of year our bodies can feel wildly different, benefiting from subtle shifts in pacing and focus.

Restorative Yoga | Sunday 5pm at Grassroots Yoga & Health

Join me on Sunday evenings to end your week in nourishment. In this class we explore gentle, aware movements and stiller, longer shapes with support from bolsters, blankets and blocks. This unique way of practising is all about 'doing' nothing, simply receiving the poetry of intentional rest and allowing our body time to be. Some people find they feel pretty transformed after an hour of restorative yoga and I am a big advocate of this style to compliment our busy lives.
